Who We Are

As leadership and performance strategists we are well versed in the leadership competencies required of those at the most senior level and we know how to translate those competencies into a full-blown leadership practice. We have 25 years of combined experience as certified coaches and bring a broad foundation to this work.

In addition to graduate degrees in business and psychology, we are schooled in an evidence-based approach to continuing leadership development. We assess each leader using integrative and cross-theory elements that pull from the various disciplines of leadership theory, adult learning and development models, systems theory, and principles of humanistic, behavior-based, and cognitive psychology as they apply to coaching. Using a goal- focused methodology, we then design a specific roadmap for the leader to thrive. It is never a one-size-fits-all approach.

We use some of the world's best psychometric personality and leadership assessments including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Step II instrument and the FIRO-B. We assess each engagement and choose from among several best-in-class 360 leadership assessments including Lominger's Leadership Architect® Suite from Korn/Ferry, Strategic Directions® from Management Research Group, and Emotional and Social Intelligence inventories from the Hay Group.

What's different about us is that with every engagement we scuba dive with our clients whereas others in the field may simply be snorkeling; we take a global view of leadership that incorporates four essential elements of leading well both professionally and personally, and those are: mental engagement, physical presence, emotional accessibility, and connection to a purposeful approach to life; and we are well-practiced at integrating meaningful work with a healthful and fulfilling personal life. That said, in so far as any human being can, we do our best to walk our talk. And when we don't, we attempt to catch ourselves before landing on our faces.
